Dr. Mark Baker, DMD
Dr. Mark Baker was born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT, attended the University of Utah for his undergraduate degree in International Studies before he went to South Florida for Dental School at Nova Southeastern University. In his youth he served a mission in Sao Paulo, Brazil where he learned Portuguese and grew a love for the people there. His desire to serve has carried forward in his mission to give people the best oral health they can have.
He has always been active in sports and especially enjoys mountain biking in Southern Utah’s gorgeous, red mountains. He loves playing pickleball, tennis, basketball, and going snowboarding. He now enjoys doing sports whenever possible with his kids, which he has five. He and his wife have enjoyed raising a family in the incredible community in Southern Utah. “It’s a dream,” he says. “Years ago, we never imagined we’d end up in St. George, but are so glad we did.”
Dr. Baker has been practicing Dentistry in St. George for over 10 years and has been grateful to see his practice grow and to meet so many great people along the way. He has a passion for providing quality dental care, and has an appetite for learning the latest best practices and procedures in dentistry. When asked what sets his dental practice apart, Dr. Baker says, “I’d have to say it’s the people here. We go out of our way to treat our patients like gold and we basically believe that caring for people and giving good customer service shouldn’t cost anything extra.” He also explained, “besides that, I have invested significantly in using the latest technology to provide quality, evidence based dentistry that takes advantage of the advancements in lasers, anesthetics, imaging and diagnosing, same-day CAD-CAM crowns, and dental materials to give patients the kind of dental care we would want in our own mouths.”
Elyse Ricketts: RDH, Hygienist
Elyse graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2005 from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene. She LOVES her job and always likes learning new information, especially anything dental or medical related. She loves spending time with her husband, no matter what they are doing. Since she met her husband, she has learned to play golf.
Elyse met her husband, Larry, in St. George after school and has been married since 2009. She was born and raised in Cedar City, Utah, and moved to St. George after finishing hygiene school. She is the youngest of 3, being the only girl.
Briana Reed: Dental Hygienist
Bri was born and raise din Montana, and moved to St. George to attend college. She graduated from Dixie State University (now Utah Tech University) with her Bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene in 2022. She enjoys learning about dental hygiene and has a passion to educate and serve people within her community.
Bri got married to her husband Brycan, during dental hygiene school and loves spending time and going on adventures with him. She also enjoys doing pottery, designing and other artsy tings. She loves the mountains, rain and dirt, abut has found a new love for the beauty in Southern Utah.
Kim Simmons: Office Manager
Kim is originally from Farmington, UT, and recently moved to St. George in June of 2018. She has worked in the dental field for 5 years in a variety of positions, such as a dental assistant, treatment and insurance coordinator, phlebotomist, and now as office manager. She recently married her best friend of 6 years and is expecting their first child. She loves working with patients and everyone in the office. In her spare time, Kim enjoys spending time with her dogs Silver and Sandy, visiting family, and reading a good book.
Carlee Pay: Front Office/Insurance Coordinator
Carlee moved to Saint George in January of 2022 to study healthcare at Dixie State, (now Utah Tech). She is new to the dental field, but has enjoyed meeting and helping patients, as well as learning about dentistry. She as born and raise din Moroni, Ut. In her spare time she loves anything outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
Cindy Webb: Dental Assistant
Cindy Webb has been assisting for 20 years and went to the Brymans School in Orange, CA, for dental assisting. She loves everything about her job but is particularly fond of the assistant-patient relationships that she has formed over the years. She is married to Don Webb, and they have two children and four grandchildren. Cindy loves Southern Utah, and her favorite things are family, friends, and anything outdoors.
Aspen Jensen: Dental Assistant
Aspen was born and raised in Southern Utah. Growing up she knew she wanted to go into the healthcare field and chose dentistry. Right out of high school she went to dental assisting school. She enjoys anything to do with learning, especially dental and medical. In her free time she enjoys photography, anything to do with the outdoors, and, of course, spending time with her two dogs Tank and Titan!
